A large portion of West Yellowstone is incorporated into the historic district, listed on the National Register Of Historic Places. Stroll around our neighborhood when you visit. Enjoy the pioneer spirit of the early Rocky Mountain West.
 

 

Museum Of The Yellowstone - Operated by the non profit Yellowstone Historic Center, this museum features the transportation history of West Yellowstone. From the stagecoach, through the railroad, to the automobile and snowmobile.

The Oregon Short Line Depot- This building along with the Dinning Lodge and the baggage terminal (current police station), form the core of the walking tour of the earliest section of West Yellowstone.

Faithful Street Inn - A charming assemblage of cabins in the historic “Old Town” section of West Yellowstone. This establishment has been tastefully updated with modern amenities such as wireless internet in every room.

Glenn Bell Fly Fishing - Guided fly fishing trips in West Yellowstone Montana on the Snake, Madison and Gallatin rivers. We teach and coach beginners to advanced anglers!

Waterdog Lodging -  West Yellowstone lodging vacation rental homes in West Yellowstone Montana, near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

West Yellowstone Public Library - A full service library with internet access. They feature a large range of books in the collections ranging from contemporary best sellers to local history and Yellowstone National Park.

Madison Hotel - An early hotel from the pioneer days of West Yellowstone. Includes a hostel, gift shops, and tours of the structure that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center - This unique, not for profit, wildlife park and education center features an education center, a gift shop, a pack of Gray Wolves, and - of course - Grizzly Bears.

IMAX Theater - Located adjacent to the national park boundary this theater features the movie “YELLOWSTONE” along with other IMAX attractions.

Playmill Theater - This play house is located next to Bullwinkle’s and offers live theater productions during the summer season. High quality family entertainment features ‘Olde Tyme’ melodramas, skits, and adaptations of Broadway plays.

Eagle’s Store -This landmark building houses the family business of the town’s founding family. It is probably the most famous building in West Yellowstone and sits on the original site of the first store in town. The current building was built in 1930 after a fire destroyed the original.
